Glycol Cooling Unit

Glycol cooling is designed to cool fermenting and serving tanks, cold liquor and yeast tank. Equipment consist of base frame made of stainless steel angle bars, glycol tank made of double walled insulated tank with cover, all made of stainless steel, DN 40 BUPOSPOL butterfly valves, EBARA E120 pumps, JDK NITRA cooling unit and RJK - Z - JDK Nitra electrical panel. Glycol tank is filled with glycol mixed with water for -10°C.

Cooling medium - R404 A (Monopropylene-Glycol):
Glycol chilling station consists of:
  • glycol-reservoir (double-jacket stainless-steel insulated vessel)
  • stainless-steel frame
  • air chiller condensation units
  • heat exchanger
  • evaporator
  • glycol-pumps
  • valves
  • electrical switch-box (connected to central control panel or to computer)
Working temperature range: -4/+35°C
Cooling-Unit size is always adapted to brewing-system configuration (number and volume of fermenters, serving-tanks, cold-water tank) and also to local climate conditions.
